KL Rahul dismisses the T20 strike-rate debate

Rahul’s T20 strike rate does not tell the whole story, according to India’s batsman.

The debate over strike rate rages ahead of India’s three-match T20I series opener against Australia.

Rahul has a T20I strike rate of 140.91, which is slightly higher than his overall T20 strike rate of 137.35.

He credits coach Rahul Dravid and captain Rohit Sharma with their unwavering support.

Rahul believes he is in a good mental state following his recovery from injury and illness.

The India batsman underwent sports hernia surgery, which was followed by a bout of Covid.

He led Lucknow Super Giants to the Indian Premier League knockout stages with 616 runs, including two hundreds, at an average of 51.33 and a strike rate of 135.35.
