iPhone 14 Pro includes live sports scores in Dynamic Island on iOS 16.1

iOS 16.1 will include a new Live Activities feature that will allow iPhone users to stay up to date on what is going on in real time.

Live Activities, such as a sports game or a food delivery order, can be accessed directly from the Lock Screen.

Live Activities are also integrated with the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max.

By tapping on the “Follow” button in the TV app for a supported game, iOS 16.1 beta users can access Live Activities in third-party apps.

The Dynamic Island displays a real-time scoreboard that displays the number of goals scored by each club.

When pressed repeatedly, the Dynamic Island expands to show the time remaining and play-by-play action. In the future, Live Activities will most likely be expanded to include other sports.

iOS 16 Live Activities Sports MLBMLB Lock Screen Game When an iPhone 14 Pro is locked, the score is instead displayed in a widget on the Lock Screen.

According to Apple, the feature is available for MLB games in the United States, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, and South Korea.
