India vs Ireland 1st T20I: Match cut to 12 overs

Due to rain on Sunday, the match was reduced to 12 overs per side.

Deepak Hooda, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya scored half-centuries for India.

Umran Malik, a fast bowler, made his debut for India but gave up 14 runs in his only over.

Hardik Pandya, the stand-in captain, took one wicket and scored 24 runs off 12 balls.

On June 28, India plays Ireland in the second and final game at the same venue.
