Gangsters Manpreet Singh and Jagroop Singh killed in the exchange of fire

Manpreet Singh alias Mannu and Jagroop Singh alias Roopa were key suspects in the May 29 murder of Moose Wala in Mansa.

On Wednesday, they were killed in a firefight in Hoshiar Nagar village, near the Attari border in Amritsar district.

From the house where they were hiding, police recovered an AK-47 rifle and a.30mm pistol.

The Anti-Gangster Task Force received information that the accused in the death of Sidhu Moose Wala had taken refuge in Hoshiar Nagar village. People were not permitted to travel on the road that led to the farmhouse.

Mannu of Kussa village in Moga district is facing 13 charges in Punjab, including four murder charges.

Six shooters have been identified by police, and two modules have been implicated in the killing.

The shooters were said to have communicated with Goldy Brar, who lives in Canada.

Haryana module shooters Priyavrat Fauji, Kashish, and Ankit Sirsa were apprehended by Delhi police.

So far, their counterparts in Punjab have failed to apprehend any shooter.
