Elon Musk set a new Guinness World Record after his personal worth reportedly fell by $100 billion last year, or in 2022 to be exact.

The tech millionaire currently owns the record for the “biggest loss of personal fortune”.

The Tesla CEO and Twitter Chief Twit is no longer the world’s wealthiest man.

The American-African entrepreneur also lost his “wealthiest man” title to Bernard Arnault, the creator of the luxury conglomerate Louis Vuitton Mot Hennessy (LVMH). The French billionaire is reported to be worth $190 billion.

Musk’s net worth has dropped to $138 billion as of this writing, from a peak of $320 billion in 2021.
