Elon Musk has accused Twitter of concealing critical data security flaws.

However, he attempted to withdraw his acquisition bid less than three months later.

The U-term has sparked a legal battle, with Twitter’s board of directors dismissing Musk’s claims.

He claims that Twitter’s lax internal security and testing in production environments endangers user data.

This follows claims by Peiter “Mudge” Zatko, Twitter’s former head of security, that foreign intelligence agents were operating within the company.

During a Senate hearing on Tuesday, Mudge expanded on his previous claims.
