Edward Norton and Dave Bautista in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

The release date for “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” has been announced by Netflix. Rian Johnson, the writer-director, compared casting for this film to “throwing a dinner party.”

For his latest film, Glass Onion, director Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson said he was inspired by Agatha Christie and other “tropical getaway murder mystery” films.

The film will be the first of two sequels, with Johnson directing both. During filming, the cast and some of their families stayed in a Greek villa.

Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Jessica Henwick, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista join Craig and Norton in the cast.
