DCW Swati Maliwal demands Sajid Khan be removed from the show

On October 1, the first episode of Bigg Boss’ 16th season aired.

The Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) suspended Sajid Khan for a year in 2018 after multiple women accused him of sexual harassment.

Swati Maliwal, the head of the Delhi Commission for Women, has written to Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, demanding that filmmaker Sajid Khan be removed from Bigg Boss 16.

During the #MeToo movement, ten women accused him of sexual harassment.

He also stepped down as director of “Housefull 4” earlier that year, and was replaced by Farhad Samji.

Several actresses, including Mandana Karimi and Jiah Khan, have accused him of sexual harassment.
