Dave Chappelle opens for Chris Rock and Kevin Hart

On Saturday night, Dave Chappelle opened for Chris Rock and Kevin Hart at Madison Square Garden.

The comedian hadn’t opened for anyone in years, and the audience loved it. Dave mentioned being tackled at the Hollywood Bowl, implying that his bodyguards were slow to react because they were wearing dress shoes.

“Anyone who claims that words hurt have never been punched in the face,” Chris Rock said.

He warmed up the audience with Radiohead’s “Karma Police” and discussed cancel culture extensively. The show ended with all three on stage, and there was a sort of competition to see who was the greatest of all time.
