Canada-based Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala was attacked by Goldy Brar, who claims responsibility for the crime

Satinder Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, is a close friend of Lawrence Bishnoi, a criminal. On Sunday, unknown assailants shot and killed Sidhu Moose Wala in Jawaharke village in Mansa district. He was slain a day after the Punjab government ordered the removal of two gunmen assigned to his protection. ​​

Goldy Brar, a Canadian, is suspected of being involved in the assassination of Punjabi artist and rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, according to Punjab Police. Satinder Singh, alias Goldy Brar, is a close friend of mobster Lawrence Bishnoi, according to sources.

On Sunday, unidentified assailants shot and killed Sidhu Moose Wala in Jawaharke village, Mansa district, Punjab.

According to accounts, 30 shots were fired at the singer’s car, 20 of which were fired at Sidhu Moosewala. The attack also injured two other people who were travelling with the Punjabi artist.

Locals in Jawaharke village rushed Sidhu Moosewala to the hospital, but doctors ruled him dead when he arrived.
The tragedy happened just one day after the Punjab Police Department took away the protection of 424 people, including Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. Two gunmen assigned to his security were withdrawn by the Punjab administration.

Former Punjab DGP Shashi Kant, on the other hand, stated, “Security was not removed; rather, it was temporarily removed in honour of the Operation Blue Star anniversary. However, the government should not have made it public.”

The murder may have been motivated by the assassination of Vikramjit alias Vicky Middukhera.
Vicky Middukhera was allegedly hunted and shot dead in Mohali, Punjab, last August. The incident, according to sources, was the consequence of a long-running rivalry between Vicky and Sidhu Moose Wala. According to several stories, the fight was over who would control and dominate Punjab’s music business. Vicky’s manager was allegedly involved in the alleged murder plot, which was hatched in a studio.
