Britney Spears tied the knot with fiance Sam Asghari

Britney Spears married fiance Sam Asghari seven months after being released from a conservatorship that she claimed had prevented her from marrying.

On Thursday, the couple married in a small ceremony in California.

However, plans were thrown off track when Jason Alexander, who was briefly married to the pop star in 2004, was arrested for allegedly gatecrashing.

The ceremony took place later that day, with guests reportedly including Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Drew Barrymore. The wedding gown was designed by Donatella Versace, but no photos have been released.

However, Spears’ father, mother, and sister were reportedly not expected to attend the wedding because of the conservatorship.
