Bitzlato linked with well-known Russian cybercriminals

Bitzlato allegedly collaborated with ransomware groups, and his founder was arrested.

Anatoly Legkodymov was arrested on Wednesday, January 18, according to US prosecutors. Following claims of illegal financial spending, the 40-year-old Russian is expected to face money-laundering charges.

The FBI has gathered significant evidence including a chat exchange in which he allegedly asserts that “all traders are known to be criminals”.

Bitzlato, according to Cointelegraph, used to keep a low profile until multiple complaints erupted in the crypto world.
