Amazon Music hikes prices in US and UK

As of Feb. 21, Amazon’s Music Unlimited subscription will cost an additional $1 and £1 in the United States and the United Kingdom, respectively.

Amazon stated that the pricing changes will allow it to give even more content and services to customers. Despite the price increases, the Family Plan ($15.99/month) and Single-Device Plan ($4.99/month) appear to be steady.

Amazon, like Apple, has increased the price of its music streaming service, Amazon Music, by $1 for solo users and $2 for families in the United States. Apple quietly increased the price of its student plan from $9.99 to $11.99 per month in June 2022.

This would be a big shift for the company, which has maintained its normal membership fee same since its inception in 2011.
