Adani Group confirms taking part in the open bidding process for 5G Spectrum services

Adani Group confirmed on July 9 that it is one of many applicants taking part in the open bidding process for 5G Spectrum services.

Earlier on July 8, several reports claimed that billionaire Gautam Adani’s group was considering a surprise entry into the race for 5G spectrum, competing with Mukesh Ambani’s Jio and Sunil Bharti Mittal’s Airtel.

Adani Group stated that they would require ultra-high quality data streaming capabilities across all of their businesses via a high frequency and low latency 5G network.

The applications for participation in the 5G auction on July 26th closed on July 8th, with at least four applications received.
