A young Muslim boy arrested for supporting Nupur Sharma
Saad Ashfaq Ansari, a young Muslim boy from Maharashtra, was arrested for supporting ex-BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.
He had also questioned the nature of the Prophet Muhammad’s relationship with his wife Ayesha.
A Muslim mob assaulted and abused him earlier yesterday for his stance in the ongoing blasphemy row. On June 12th, a Muslim mob descended on the home of Saad Ashfaq Ansari and demonstrated outside his home.

They filed a blasphemy complaint against him at the Nizampura police station in Bhiwandi.
According to the mob member, he had allegedly made “objectionable remarks” against Islam and the Prophet Muhammad.
Naveen Kumar Jindal has been arrested and summoned to appear in court on June 15 and June 15, respectively.
Nupur Sharma, the woman accused of blasphemy, has also been summoned to appear in court from June 15 to June 25.
